KENTO’S APPROACH

I offer massage and bodywork that supports healing on multiple levels — physical, emotional, and energetic.

I approach each session as a conversation. Working together, we pay attention to the tension your body is holding, how it wants to be met, and where it’s ready to let go.

Coming from over a decade in practice, I draw from a wide range of techniques — including deep tissue, myofascial massage, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed care. But it’s not just the techniques that matter — it’s the quality of presence we bring to the process.

By the end of a session, clients feel more like themselves — more connected from the inside out.

  • Anyone looking to establish a deeper relationship to their body.

The queer community, especially trans and nonbinary people, often struggle to access bodywork where they feel comfortable enough for true healing to happen. Developed over more than a decade of somatic practice in the community, each session is a commitment to delivering presence, attention, and care to every body.

  • A session combines elements of massage therapy, somatic awareness, and relational presence. Rather than following a set routine, each session is shaped in real time — based on what the client’s body needs.

The intention isn’t to 'fix' or push through — it’s to create the conditions for release, reconnection, and regulation.

  • It’s collaborative: Sessions are a two-way conversation, shaped by what emerges.

    - It’s responsive: No two sessions are alike — because no two bodies are.

    - It’s nervous-system aware: The work helps down-regulate stress and supports emotional clarity.

    - It’s slow and intentional: The body is given time to respond without forcing an outcome.

  • A session is for anyone looking to feel more connected to their body, manage chronic stress or tension, or simply slow down and listen inward, especially for those:

    - In high-stress environments

    - Recovering from burnout or physical strain

    - In therapy or emotional processing

    - Curious about somatic work or nervous system care

  • Sessions are held in a private Brooklyn studio and last 60, 90, or 120 minutes. Each session begins with a short check-in. From there, we follow what your body presents. You don’t need to come in with a goal. The work will meet you where you are.

Clients often come in feeling disconnected, tense, or emotionally drained. By the end, they feel more like themselves — clearer, calmer, and more connected from the inside out.
